Video: Steve Francis’ ‘Finer Things’ won’t win Grammy
HoopsVibe’s Very Quick Call: The NBA’s version of ‘Where’s Waldo’ has resurfaced as, you guessed it, a rapper.
Steve Francis disappeared from the public eye after getting released by a Chinese club. The only news was that the one-time Franchise had started a record label and ran into, well, trouble with an employee.
Well, Francis is back. Unfortunately. He’s another baller trying his luck as a lyricist and the early returns aren’t good -even by professional athlete standards.

Steve Francis Accused of ‘Groping’ 20-year old singer
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Francis allegedly "groped" a 20-year-old woman through her clothing in May 2010 ... and the woman immediately went to the cops to file a complaint. The alleged victim tells TMZ ... she is a singer who was signed to Steve's record label and on the day of the alleged incident, she had met Steve at an office to discuss her contract.
HoopsVibe’s Very Quick Call: Ever wondered what happened to Steve Francis, the former All-Star combo guard who seemed to fall off the face of the earth?
Well, now you know.
Francis, it seems, has got himself into trouble with the law after he allegedly groped a singer signed to his record label during a meeting in 2010.
Of course, it’s an open investigation, which means police could still charge Francis or perhaps he cuts the victim a cheque and this thing disappears from the authority‘s radar.
Either way, the damage to Francis’ rep’ is done. These accusations will never disappear from the public radar and will stick to him no matter what he does or where he goes.

Is Yao Ming a Hall of Famer?
The Great Wall of Houston officially retired from the NBA. Most of us were waiting for the past three years now. Yao was obviously trying his hardest to get back, but the mind finally gave in. He finally accepted it after all this time. Houston moved on a long time ago, but we will never forget what Yao brought to the NBA (besides injuries) such as his skills and the gates opening up for China.

HoopsVibe’s Very Quick Call: Oh, how The Franchise has fallen.
Steve Francis, a three-time NBA All-Star, is now out the league and catching flack from the law for sipping a little something, something at the Los Angeles International Airport.
Perhaps this is Karma. After all, Francis was a Prima Donna in Vancouver, Houston, and Orlando. His time in New York and Memphis was laughable.
Hopefully, Francis gets it together. He’s only 33. And has the resources to do anything he wants.
